The company was founded by the injection molding specialists of FujiFilm Recording Media GmbH as an MBO in November 2008. Polymeroptix utilises the capabilities in ultra precision tooling and - molding to develop and produce optical precision parts such as lenses and light guides in plastics as well as many products supplying the medical Market.

In the effort of optimizing the polymeroptix capabilities in May 2011 polymeroptix aquired a prodcution site for bulk medical production in St. Austell England. 

Nowadays our offer is the broad, over 20 years experience needed to manage this specific process chain in order to fulfill the challenging demands of the optical - and lighting industries as well as being able to supply in billion per year bulk production.

Polymeroptix is ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 18001 certified.
